When the current owner of Hideout II purchased this vessel in 2007 he placed her in the world renowned Rybovich Boat Yard in Palm Beach,FL and invested $500,000 in to refitting her and it shows. Her entire exterior was repainted. New galley granite counter tops were installed. A salon storage locker was converted to an on deck powder room as a convenience for his guests. Florida Detroit Diesel installed all new turbos, raw water pumps and fresh water pumps on the main engines. The main engine heat exchangers were gone through.
In addition, a KVH-7 SAT Com system was added. A new Furuno NavNet andRadar were installed. A new 15' Novuranix hard bottom tender with 90 HP Yamaha engine was installed on the foredeck. A new Kitchenaide range top was installed in the galley. All systems and equipment were double checked before her voyage to Los Suenos Resort in Costa Rica. A recent visit confirmed that her crew has continued to maintain her in A+ yacht class condition.
"Convertible"adequately describes the superb design of this vessel. At 10 knots, she has a range of 1700 nautical miles. At her 20 knot cruise speed she has a range of 700 nautical miles. She has proven herself time after time as a serious sport fishing machine. Her massive interior and accommodations plan rival any 86' Motor Yacht afloat.
Her interior is luxurious and comfortable. Her aft deck lounge and dining table can easily accommodate a dozen guests for a gourmet meal. The enclosed flybridge is spacious and allows the crew comfort in all weather conditions. Her entire interior is finished with hi-gloss cherry wood, placing this interior as the best 86' Hatteras ever built. One visit to the "Hideout II" will easily show you why she is absolutely the best buy in a large, well equipped, and extremely comfortable sport fisherman anywhere.
